Job summary

VCU Health in Richmond, VA seeks a Physical Therapist Clinician II to provide direct physical therapy care and detailed documentation in the patient record. The role includes consulting across patient groups and rotating through clinical service areas.

The PT will mentor PTA/therapy staff and students, participate in rounds and discharge planning, and collaborate with other disciplines. Virginia licensure and CPR may be required; weekend/holiday shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Virginia or eligible for licensure.
• CPR certification may be required by clinic.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy; licensure is required for continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy care to assigned patient population and document in the medical record.
• Act as a consultant to multiple patient populations and rotate through clinical service areas.
• Instruct PT/OT support staff, PT students, and other discipline personnel; participate in rounds and discharge conferences.
