Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Gig Harbor is seeking a Physical Therapist to help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life. You will perform initial evaluations and develop individualized plans of care to support progress.

Daily responsibilities include updating plans of care, delivering a range of therapies, documenting thoroughly, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and families, and guiding patients toward maximum

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program with clinical fieldwork.
• LEAD: minimum of two years of clinical physical therapy experience in direct patient care.
• WA licensure upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Implement and update treatment plans including mobility, strengthening, ROM and modalities.
• Document treatment thoroughly and in a timely manner per standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families to optimize care.
• Monitor progress and discharge patients when maximum benefit is reached.
