Job summary

Premier Healthcare Consultants is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Brookmeade, AL to evaluate and treat residents with temporary or long-term physical disabilities, aiming to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing through exercise, heat, ultrasound, and other modalities.

Under physician supervision, the PT will develop and implement plans of care, document findings, educate patients and families, and supervise staff as required by state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the relevant state.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administer and interpret tests to assess strength, ROM, and balance.
• Develop and implement plans of care under physician order.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in use of mobility aids and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per regulations.
• Supervise assistants as allowed by state guidelines.
