University of South Alabama's Physical Therapy department in Mobile seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to assess patients, develop and revise care plans, and deliver therapies using standard techniques.

New graduates welcome; Alabama PT licensure on hire preferred or temporary license required. BCLS within 30 days; adherence to infection control and timely communication is essential. Position requires 20+ hours per week with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved program in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama.
• New graduates accepted; experienced therapists preferred.
• PT licensure with the State of Alabama on hire preferred or temporary license on hire required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days required.

Responsabilités

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes, revises, and evaluates a plan of care appropriate to problems identified and involving the patient/family.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.
• Oral and written communication is professional and timely.
• Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements.
• Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
• Related duties as assigned.
