Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for the St. Francis Downtown Rehab Unit. The role involves evaluating patients, designing treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy across outpatient and inpatient settings as part of continuous professional care.

You will maintain detailed documentation in the EMR, supervise PTAs, and uphold safety and compliance standards while achieving productivity targets and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice (required)
• BLS Basic Life Support (required within 30 days for certain facilities)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, gathers information, and develops an appropriate treatment plan with specific goals.
• Provides direct therapy to patients daily following the plan of care and current standards of practice.
• Maintains accurate records of treatment and patient progress in the EMR; provide co-signature for PT assistants when applicable.
• Maintains productivity while ensuring quality care and meeting department standards.
• Adheres to departmental policies on safety, infection control, and timekeeping; completes required education.
• Supervises the physical therapist assistant’s interventions and professional growth.
