Job summary

Well Care Community Health, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Phlebotomist to perform safe blood draws and routine lab tests in a clean, compliant environment in Indiana. You will assist in maintaining laboratory operations, ensuring sanitary conditions and proper record-keeping.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 1–3 months of related experience or training, with an emphasis on accuracy, safety, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and process specimens, including blood draws and routine diagnostics.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies; perform quality control and routine instrument maintenance.
• Inspect shipments and liaise with suppliers for testing materials as needed.
• Order testing supplies and ship specimens for Indiana influenza and lead testing.
• Maintain inventory and restock laboratory supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Keep the lab sanitary; clean and disinfect instruments and countertops daily.
• Operate autoclave daily and maintain related records and inventory.
• Record laboratory temperatures and maintain logs for rooms, refrigerators, incubators, and freezers.
• Maintain patient test result files and update the Laboratory Procedural Manual.
