Job summary

Patient First is seeking a qualified candidate to support clinical operations at our Virginia centers. The role focuses on triage, vital signs, patient preparation, and close collaboration with Physicians and Nurses, while proficiently using the EMR system.

Responsibilities include ordering labs and supplies, assisting with patient care, and maintaining equipment and treatment areas. A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Locate patients, obtain vital signs, triage, and prepare patients for exams and treatment.
• Use the electronic medical record system effectively.
• Order labs, x-ray, and medical supplies as directed.
• Notify nurses/physicians when patients are ready for exam and relay questions.
• Assist clinicians with patient care and treatment.
• Handle requests promptly and with respect.
• Perform lab duties as assigned.
• Sterilize and set up instruments; restock treatment rooms.
• Report to Charge Nurse before leaving shift; follow guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas and laundry as needed.
• Attend staff meetings; operate and maintain equipment.
• Complete checklists and Policy Manager tasks within the shift.
• Be available to assist as needed; support center operations.
• Foster teamwork and provide friendly service in all interactions.
