Potomac Healthcare Solutions, LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD, to support pharmacy operations and patient care. You will prepare, label and dispense medications, and maintain accurate records in a high‑stakes environment.

Responsibilities include processing physician orders, assisting with sterile compounding for ICU patients, and training junior technicians while upholding safety and quality standards.

Competenze

• Minimum of two (2) years as a Pharmacy Technician post-graduation.
• Must be a graduate of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Technician program or have completed a formal pharmacy technician training program.
• Valid, unrestricted license as Pharmacy Technician in at least one state, territory or commonwealth of the U.S.
• Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Mansioni

• Prepares, packages, compounds and labels pharmaceutical products and processes medication orders.
• Enters and retrieves patient information from pharmacy systems and prepares sterile products for critical care and special procedures.
• Prepares TPN and other specialized solutions and maintains detailed records of compounded medications.
• Provides guidance and training to pharmacy technicians; ensures compliance with policies and quality assurance.
