Qualifikationen

• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program per WV Board regulations.
• Current Pharmacy Technician registration with the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy.
• Preferred: National certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Hospital/inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and fill medication orders under direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
• Assist with sterile IV admixture procedures in accordance with USP 797.
• Maintain medication inventory and stock levels; replenish floor stock.
• Document controlled substances and process related charging documents.
• Deliver medications throughout the facility and assist with patient records.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, USP 797, and Joint Commission standards.
• Support pharmacy and hospital orientation, training, and ongoing competencies.
