Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of college preferred.
• Maintains current Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician licensure or eligibility.
• Possesses basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation and preparation of medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Operate electronic drug dispensing system (EDDS) for inventory control and distribution.
• Prepare IV admixtures and non-sterile products following approved formulations.
• Maintain controlled substances inventory and reconcile medication orders.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and assist in dispensing and labeling.
