Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• Maintains current unrestricted Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician licensure and CPhT certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in formulation, preparation, dispensing and delivery of medications.
• Operate EDDS for inventory control and distribution of pharmaceuticals.
• Prepare intravenous admixtures using aseptic technique in accordance with formulation records.
• Maintain drug storage and inventory, including controlled substances, in compliance with USP standards.
• Reconcile medication charges and support medication safety initiatives.
