Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support smooth pharmacy operations under a licensed pharmacist. You will assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies, maintain equipment, and help collect patient information to ensure accurate planning of materials and prescriptions.

Responsibilities include inventory maintenance, verifying quantities, managing expiration dates, and supporting site operations.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to perform basic and intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic level skills in Microsoft Word (document handling).
• Basic level skills in Microsoft Excel (currency formatting, simple data tasks).
• Basic level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint (slides creation and editing).

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Assist with maintaining equipment through calibration, inspection and cleaning.
