Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists with prescription processing and medication preparation. You will help ensure accurate dispensing, maintain equipment, and support patient care across operations.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic math, and excellent customer service. Training is provided, with a pay range clearly defined, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered in a customer-focused, fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Assist with maintaining equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and reporting defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning materials/supplies, equipment, and prescriptions.
• Help ensure a positive patient experience by answering basic patient questions and requests.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies and materials.
• Stock and store new supplies and materials.
• Review expiration dates and identify shortages.
• Pick and pack materials and supplies; create tickets.
• Track inventory through data entry in applicable systems.
• Schedule routine patient deliveries.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows; organize supplies.
• No supervisory responsibilities in this role.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
