Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking an organized Pharmacy Support Associate to assist under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, helping ensure smooth and accurate pharmacy operations in line with company policies and state regulations.

The role involves preparing and dispensing medications and supplies, reviewing refills, maintaining equipment, and supporting patient needs with accurate information. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 0–6 months of relevant experience and

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, meeting quality standards for services.
• Able to perform basic and intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting, and aligning text).
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: formatting cells as currency, sorting, and basic formulas).
• Basic skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: creating slides, editing text).

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications & supplies.
• Assist with maintaining equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning and testing.
• Collect & maintain basic patient information for planning materials and prescriptions.
• Help ensure a positive patient experience by answering basic questions and requests.
• Receive & verify quantities of incoming supplies and materials.
• Stocks & stores new supplies & materials, review expiration dates.
• Identify shortages and create tickets; track inventory in systems.
• Clean & sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows; organize supplies.
