Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking an entry-level pharmacy support position to assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing supplies.

You will help with processing prescriptions and maintaining equipment while ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies. The role emphasizes patient service, basic math, and strong organizational skills, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide home infusion provider.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience.
• Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire (if required by state).

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications & supplies.
• Assist with maintaining equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing and reporting defects.
• Collect & maintain basic patient information for planning materials/supplies, equipment, and prescriptions.
• Help ensure a positive patient experience by answering basic questions and requests.
• Receive & verify quantities of incoming supplies & materials.
• Stock & store new supplies & materials; review expiration dates; identify shortages.
• Pick and pack materials & supplies; create tickets; track inventory in systems.
• Clean & sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows; organize supplies.
