Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to plan, organize, and supervise all pharmaceutical activities in its hospital pharmacy in Georgia.

The role reports to the Pharmacy Manager/Director and ensures compliance with federal, state, local laws and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have hospital pharmacy supervisory experience, a PharmD or B.Pharm, and a solid background with automated dispensing systems and hospital pharmacy information systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Doctorate in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
Minimum experience supervising hospital pharmacy operations.
Experience with automated dispensing systems and hospital pharmacy IT systems.
Strong communication and customer service skills essential.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day pharmacy operations.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulatory standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy staff; manage scheduling and performance reviews.
Collaborate with other hospital departments and managers to optimize drug distribution and safety.
