Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Manager for the Northwest Georgia Oncology Center, based at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. The role oversees daily operations, trains staff, and ensures compliance with federal/state laws and system policies.

Ideal candidates have hospital pharmacy leadership experience, licensure, and a track record in budget and policy development. This on-site role drives clinical/distributive services for oncology and infusion areas.

Qualifications

• Hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Minimum three years in a hospital pharmacy.
• Supervisory capacity in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of hospital financial systems and reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise all pharmaceutical activities in the pharmacy.
• Train/instruct staff and supervise personnel on duties.
• Provide distributive and clinical services during staff shortages.
• Assist in policy writing, budget development, and regulatory readiness.
• Oversee inventory, audits, and compliance with USP and DEA rules.
