Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Manager Pharmacy in Georgia to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and drive clinical and financial performance across the pharmacy.

The role supports the Director of Pharmacy to ensure compliance with JACHO, Medicare, state laws, and system policies while delivering high-quality patient care. The candidate should have a Pharm.D or B.Pharm, at least five years in hospital pharmacy with supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of purchasing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D preferred; licensure required (RPH).
• Minimum five years in a hospital pharmacy with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Familiarity with hospital financial systems, purchasing, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations and supervise staff.
• Assist Director of Pharmacy with policy implementation and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and inspections (JACHO, DEA, etc.).
• Lead annual inventory, purchasing programs, and staff meetings.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize patient care and safety.
