Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to provide specialized pharmaceutical services and improve drug therapy outcomes for patients. You will actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds, evaluate medication orders, and supervise technicians to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Licensed or eligible to practice in Kentucky.
• PGY-2 residency plus three years of experience in a specialty area OR PGY-1 with five years of experience in a specialty area.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug usage and outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and medication order verification.
• Formulary management and cost-effective pharmacotherapy.
• Supervise technicians and mentor students/residents.
