Walgreens seeks a Pharmacy Manager to lead daily pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality patient care in the United States. The role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy and active licensure, with immunizer certification and leadership experience.

You will supervise workflow, staff development, inventory, and insurance processes, while supporting clinical services such as immunizations, disease state management, and collaboration with healthcare providers.

Competenze

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing.

Mansioni

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient information privacy, generics, less expensive medicines, and over-the-counter products.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications, as required.
• Establishes procedures that promote efficient workflow of the pharmacy and oversee staff scheduling, shift changes.
• Ensures the use of Good Faith Dispensing policy with state/federal laws.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to define and develop new strategic business opportunities.
• Maintains information technology knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports staff and patients with IT.

Formazione

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree

Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
