• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations and company policies; assists with procedures for efficient workflow and opening/closing duties.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports staff; proposes enhancements to improve productivity.
• Ensures accurate processing of insurance claims and follows up with payers and providers as needed.
• Performs immunizations and preventive health services to support wellbeing of customers.
• Analyzes performance data with managers and supports inventory management and asset protection.
