Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain PharmD degree from an accredited institution prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in the relevant states within district guidelines within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication use, side effects, interactions and references to medical providers when needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and dispensing.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and efficient workflow; assists in opening/closing and shift changes.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and proposes enhancements to improve productivity.
• Keeps insurance claim processing accurate and follows up with insurers and providers.
• Provides immunizations and wellness services and supports community health outreach.
• Assists with performance data analysis and inventory management.
• Builds relationships with local medical community and supports Well Experience locations.
