Job summary

The Department of Clinical Sciences in the Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy at High Point University invites applications for a full-time, promotion path (non-tenure track) faculty position. The person will teach PharmD students and engage with the School and community. Scholarly activity and service are expected alongside teaching.

Qualifications include a Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited school and NC licensure or eligibility; PGY1 and 1+ year experience required, with PGY2/fellowship and BCPS

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from ACPE-accredited school required
Pharmacist licensure in North Carolina or eligibility required
Minimum 1-year post-graduate training (PGY1 or equivalent)
Additional PGY2/residency and BCPS certifications preferred
Experience in clinical areas (varied) and excellence in teaching preferred

Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, and teach content within the integrated curriculum as assigned
Develop and offer elective courses aligned with expertise area(s)
Use assessment tools to evaluate student learning effectively
Mentor and advise students in the School of Pharmacy
Engage in scholarly activities, research, and dissemination of findings
