High Point University’s Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, promotion-path faculty position (non-tenure track). The role focuses on teaching PharmD students, service to the school and community, and clinical practice collaborations.

Academic rank will be commensurate with experience. The position emphasizes 50-60% teaching, 20-40% service, and 10-15% scholarship as the program matures, offering a pathway for advancement through demonstrated excellence in pharmacy

Formación

• Pharm.D. degree from ACPE-accredited school required.
• Pharmacist licensure in North Carolina, or eligibility for licensure is required.
• Minimum 1 year post-graduate training (PGY1 residency/fellowship) or equivalent.
• Preferred: PGY2 residency, fellowship and BCPS certification.
• Experience teaching and mentoring students preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, coordinate, and teach content within the integrated curriculum.
• Offer elective courses aligned with expertise areas as needed.
• Use assessment tools to evaluate student learning effectively.
• Mentor and advise students in the School of Pharmacy.
• Establish and maintain clinical practice sites or collaborations.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to enhance services via education and scholarship.
• Engage in scholarly activities and dissemination of findings.
