Job summary

CVS Health's Omnicare division seeks a Consultant Pharmacist to support long-term care facilities in upstate South Carolina. This full-time role focuses on regulatory reviews, quality improvement, and program adoption across facilities.

The position requires SC license, residency in Spartanburg/Greenville, and willingness to travel to customer sites within the region. Schedule is 40 hours weekly, with daytime hours and no weekend obligation at present.

Qualifications

• Reside in the Spartanburg/Greenville area.
• Active Pharmacy license in good standing in South Carolina.
• Ability to visit customer facilities located in upstate South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities remain compliant and aligned with federal regulations.
• Complete clinical reviews as required by federal and state regulation.
• Own issue resolution and communicate early warning signs of potential issues.
• Drive adoption of Omnicare programs and service offerings.
• Use existing customer relationships to promote and drive organic growth as well as new business.
• Conduct Executive Reviews and other customer meetings as required.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Operations, and appropriate corporate functions to meet overall site goals and objectives.
• Perform Medication Regimen Reviews (MRR) and provide written reports to facility staff.
• Spend time on each resident's review as defined by their clinical needs.
• Use OSC2OR software on-site to generate MRR and document responses.
• Utilize MDS 3.0 health assessment tool to identify residents needing targeted focuses.
• Complete Quality Improvement: Consultant Pharmacist Summary Report and related documentation.
• Educate facility staff on new programs and perform required functions.
