Job summary

RPh on the Go seeks an IV sterile compounding Clinical Pharmacist in Orange, CA for a 13-week contract-to-hire. This role emphasizes clinical management of TPN therapy and close collaboration with dietitians, physicians, and pharmacy staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities include monitoring TPN formulations, patient counseling, and supervising sterile compounding to USP standards. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, for 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of recent, strong experience in sterile compounding and clinical pharmacy.
• Proven expertise managing TPN patients and clinically managing TPN therapy.
• Experience working with dietitians and healthcare providers.
• Strong patient counseling and clinical communication skills.
• Willing to obtain Pharmacist licenses in Mississippi and Alabama.
• Solid knowledge of USP standards and sterile pharmacy practices.
• Home Infusion experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clinically manage and monitor patients on TPN therapy, including reviewing formulations, lab results, and therapy progress.
• Collaborate with dietitians, physicians, and pharmacy staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Provide patient counseling and education about medications and infusion therapy.
• Oversee sterile compounding processes, ensuring USP standards compliance.
• Serve as a clinical resource and lead communication across clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Ensure sterile preparations and pharmacy practices align with regulatory standards.
