Qualifications

• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret physicians orders to ensure correct drug, dosage form and dose for patient.
• Oversee preparation and delivery of medications to care areas, ensuring proper storage and workflow.
• Collaborate with health care team to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor technicians, interns, and students on rotating shifts.
• Maintain quality and safety by performing quality control checks and reporting medication errors.
• Respond to drug information questions from health professionals and patients.
