Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from ACPE approved college.
• 3 years of hospital experience is preferred.
• Licensed, or eligible for licensure, as a pharmacist.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient-focused, outcome oriented pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages.
• Reviews and interprets physicians orders to assure the drug, dosage form, and dose are appropriate.
• Oversees and/or participates in ensuring medications are prepared, delivered timely, and stored safely.
• Provides drug information answers to healthcare professionals and patients and participates in training of staff.
