Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with IDFPR licensure (Illinois).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• Experience in hospital/clinical pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• CHECKS medications leaving the department for quality assurance.
• Dispenses medications from physician orders accurately.
• Ensures accurate entry of orders into computer systems and verifies dosages for patient safety.
• Communicates with healthcare professionals regarding orders, drug interactions, and dosing.
• Oversees Omnicell system and supports pharmacy technicians.
• Participates in pharmacokinetic dosing and monitors adverse drug reactions.
