UW Health, based in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a per diem Clinical Pharmacist to join the inpatient team at University Hospital. The role offers varied shifts, a 20% FTE schedule, and opportunities to precept pharmacy students while ensuring safe, effective, and cost-efficient drug therapy within an interdisciplinary setting.

The position emphasizes clinical patient care, collaboration with peers, and pathways for professional growth within UW Health’s hospital system.

Competenze

• 1 year of clinical patient care and orders management experience required.
• 3 years of institutional experience (hospital or integrated health system) or ASHP accredited residency training preferred.
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Wisconsin within 90 days required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days required.
• Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) within 180 days required.

Work Schedule:

20% FTE. Day/Evening Shifts, varying shifts available. 8 hour shifts. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

• Pay range is based on a full-time (100%) position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree Required
• Completion of an ASHP Accredited Residency training program Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification through the appropriate certifying program (Board of Pharmacy Specialties, National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers, Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board, etc.) Preferred
