Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Omaha, NE is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for per diem shifts. You will oversee drug distribution, IV admixture, and provide clinical support in a fast-paced hospital setting.

  • Have working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
  • Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.
  • Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
  • Inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after discharge.
  • Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
  • Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
  • Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Overview

Position: Clinical Pharmacist

Location: Omaha, NE

Schedule: Per Diem

Shift: Typical hours 0800-1400 one weekend a month with potential of other days as needed

Compensation: $62.00 per hour

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.

  • Current State licensure required.

  • BLS if required by State.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency.
