Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Omaha, NE is hiring a Hospital Pharmacist for a per diem schedule. The role offers $62.00 per hour and typical hours 0800-1400, with one weekend per month and potential for other days as needed.

Responsibilities include drug distribution, IV admixture, clinical support, patient education at discharge, staff training, and participation in quality improvement. Requires state licensure; BLS if required, PharmD or BS Pharm with residency preferred.

• Have working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Instruct patients on drugs to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.
