Job summary

Accendra Health in Torrance, CA is hiring a licensed pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations under the Pharmacy Manager. You will ensure a safe, clean environment, assist in patient care, review orders, and provide drug information to patients and healthcare professionals.

The position requires California licensure in good standing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team while complying with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in California in good standing.
• Bachelor of Science or PharmD from an accredited program.
• Ability to interact professionally with physicians, nurses and staff.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify new patient orders using the pharmacy information system.
• Counsel patients and healthcare professionals regarding medications.
• Perform drug utilization reviews and document ongoing therapy.
• Maintain documentation and comply with HIPAA and state/federal laws.
• Monitor stock, prepare labels, and dispense medication orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adherence to safety protocols.
