Job summary

Accendra Health in California is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Manager in operating a safe, compliant pharmacy and delivering high-quality patient care.

You will review orders, counsel patients and healthcare professionals, manage drug therapy, ensure HIPAA compliance, and maintain accurate documentation while supporting inventory and workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Currently licensed as a registered pharmacist in California in good standing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional interaction with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify new patient orders using the pharmacy information system.
• Counsel patients and healthcare professionals on medications and drug therapy.
• Maintain documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance; monitor drug therapy for safety and efficacy.
• Manage inventory, stock replenishment, and ensure accurate dispensing when necessary.
