Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Pharmacy required or Pharm.D. from an accredited school.
- Texas Pharmacist License or eligibility; licensure within 90 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required/ACLS course from AHA; Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days.
- IV Sterile Certification required for inpatient areas; outpatient preferred.
- Two years of progressive work experience; PGY1 residency strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, patient-centered pharmacotherapy and clinical reviews.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and safe medication distribution.
- Lead educational initiatives for patients and healthcare staff.
