Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
Active Hawaii Pharmacist License (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Verify and dispense prescription medications accurately.
Provide comprehensive medication counseling and clinical recommendations.
Review prescriptions for interactions, allergies, contraindications, and therapeutic duplications.
Collaborate with prescribers on customized medication solutions.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns.
Ensure compliance with Hawaii Board of Pharmacy, DEA, HIPAA, and applicable regulations.
Maintain documentation and records.
Assist with inventory management and medication procurement.
Resolve insurance and prescription-related issues.
Collaborate on compounding formulations (HRT, dermatology, weight management, pediatric and veterinary compounds).
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
