Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to support Ambulatory, Inpatient, and Research pharmacy operations at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Under a pharmacist's direction, you will extend knowledge and perform technical functions across multiple spaces including narcotics management, medication reconciliation, and medication assistance programs.

The role emphasizes system support, data integrity, and collaboration with pharmacy staff to ensure safe and efficient medication

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required, or a post high school degree.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Pharmacy Tech and experience with pharmacy software and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform technician functions for Ambulatory, Inpatient, Research, and Drug Policy programs as assigned by the Pharmacy Director Cohort.
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines for narcotic management (Joint Commission, state health dept, state Board of Pharmacy, DEA).
• Maintain inventory management for controlled substances and assist in purchasing records.
