Job summary

Allina Health, a not-for-profit health system serving Minnesota and western Wisconsin, seeks a Pharmacist for its Community Pharmacy Apple Valley location. You will oversee drug distribution, review medications, counsel patients, and support clinical pharmacotherapy to improve outcomes.

We offer 1.0 FTE with day/evening shifts, an every-4th weekend rotation, and comprehensive benefits. State licenses in MN or WI are required upon hire where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy
• 0 to 2 years of identified pharmacy experience

Responsibilities

• Reviews medications to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective utilization
• Evaluates dose, route, frequency and administration for prescriptions
• Counsels patients on new medications, refills and OTC products
• Provides pharmacotherapeutic recommendations and medication therapy management
• Coaches and trains pharmacy staff and ensures compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations
• Performs controlled substance audits and supports quality assurance
