Qualifications

- Ability to accurately dispense and monitor medications.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to drug distribution and pharmacy security.
- RP - Registered Pharmacist - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
Responsibilities
- Prepares and dispenses medications for patients across age groups.
- Evaluates literature to optimize drug selection and therapy.
- Ensures policies ensure safe, cost-effective medication use.
- Documents interventions and reports adverse reactions.
- Coordinates activities of technicians in medication preparation and delivery.
- Counsels on drug information for physicians, nurses and patients.
- Acts as resource regarding appropriateness, availability and cost of therapies
