Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inc. is hiring an Oncology Nurse for the Day Shift in the Lehigh Valley region.

You will provide professional, safe nursing care in designated oncology departments, educating and coordinating treatment with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, adherence to safety standards, and using electronic medical records to document care.

Formación

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• RN license in Pennsylvania upon hire.
• Oncology experience or certification preferred.
• Ability to work with a team to deliver patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for oncology patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, symptoms, and self-care.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives and performance improvement.
• Support department and hospital goals and participate in team activities.
• Utilize technology to enhance communication and patient care.
• Mentor new staff and participate in performance appraisals.
• Protect patient PHI in accordance with HIPAA policies.
