Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Pharmacist to provide quality pharmaceutical care, dispense medications, and review prescriptions for safety and efficacy across patient populations including infant to geriatric.

You will communicate with physicians and care teams, supervise technicians, ensure compliance with OBRA and regulatory standards, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. This role is based at Lehigh Valley Hospital campuses in the Muhlenberg area with day shift.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Pharmacy or Bachelor’s Degree Pharmacy; ability to accurately dispense and monitor medications.
• RP - Registered Pharmacist - State of Pennsylvania.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment; collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to drug distribution and pharmacy security.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and dispenses medications for diverse patient age groups.
• Evaluates literature to optimize drug selection and therapy.
• Ensures policies support safe, cost-effective medication use.
• Performs clinical medication surveillance and documents interventions.
• Coordinates activities of pharmacy technicians in preparation and delivery of medications.
• Counsels and provides drug information to physicians, nurses, and patients per standards.
