Corewell Health in Royal Oak, MI seeks a full-time Clinical Pharmacist to join the inpatient pharmacy team. The role focuses on safe medication management, drug interactions review, and education for patients and families.

You will supervise technicians, contribute to program development, and support ongoing professional growth within Beaumont Health goals. The position requires an PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, MI licensure, and experience in oncology pharmacy is preferred.

• Required Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
• 1 year of Oncology pharmacy experience Preferred
• LIC-Clinical Pharmacist - STATE_MI State of Michigan 90 Days required
• LIC-Pharmacist Controlled Substance - STATE_MI State of Michigan 90 Days required

Responsibilities

• Provides Pharmaceutical Care according to professional and departmental standards and statutory requirements.
• Provides safe, effective, rational, and cost-conscious pharmacotherapeutic recommendations through the department's medication management programs.
• The Clinical Pharmacist assists in supervising the functional activities of Pharmacy Technicians and Interns.
• Participates in department directed medication management activities consistent with Beaumont Health goals and objectives.
• The Clinical Pharmacist will demonstrate good judgment and decisiveness during daily activities, maintaining a working knowledge of current pharmaceutical practice, and demonstrate a personal commitment to professional growth.
• The Clinical Pharmacist will support management by providing oversight, guidance and support for all assigned areas and will participate in the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of new programs and activities.

We oversee the medication storage, distribution, and management in a variety of settings. We review medication orders for accuracy and potential interactions, accurately prepare and dispense medications, provide evidence-based drug information, monitor drug levels to optimize therapy, and educate patients and families about their medications. By prioritizing medication safety and minimizing adverse events, we strive to improve patient outcomes and contribute to their overall well-wellness.

Royal Oak - Full time, rotating shift
