Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital seeks an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist NICU to provide expert pharmaceutical care as part of a multidisciplinary team. ICU orientation preferred; lead medication policy and mentor residents and colleagues.

You will collaborate with physicians to monitor therapy, dispense medications safely, and ensure compliance with laws and company policies. Sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available with a two-year commitment.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Pharm D. degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Graduate of an accredited PGY-1 residency is required.
• PGY-2 residency preferred.
• 5+ years inpatient hospital experience preferred.
• Pharmacist licensure in state of practice required and board certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications safely and accurately.
• Provide drug information to patients and families.
• Issue controlled substances and maintain required records.
• Lead committees responsible for medication policies and procedures.
• Mentor students, residents and colleagues in professional care.
• Collaborate with physicians to monitor medication therapy for contraindications.

3+ years HCA inpatient hospital exp

Maintains current pharmacist licensure
