Job summary

Qualifications

• CT Pharmacist license or eligibility within 45 days of hire.
• Bachelor degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
• ASHP residency or 3–5 years pharmacy experience.
• Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates drug literature to compare therapies and promotes cost-effective regimens.
• Provides clinical support to staff pharmacists and collaborates with providers.
• Designs or develops therapeutic regimens for safety and outcomes.
• Mentors pharmacy residents and students; conducts education for staff.
• Participates in drug use evaluations, system councils, and Lean improvements.
