Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
• New York State Pharmacy License.
• Current NY State Pharmacist Registration.
• Preferred: knowledge of dispensing systems and sterile compounding including cytotoxic agents.

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders and enter into EMR when needed.
• Review orders for dosage, allergies, interactions, and legibility.
• Supervise Pharmacy Assistants.
• Provide double checks for all doses.
• Prepare IV and other sterile admixtures, including cytotoxic/hazardous agents.
• Provide drug information to patients and professionals.
