Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Current NY State Pharmacy Technician license/registration is required.
• PTCB or NHA certification is required.

• Must be computer literate and able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock control in all pharmacy areas.
• Deliver medications to Article 28 sites as needed.
• Restock IV solutions in the IV Room as required.
• Order pharmaceuticals and supplies as needed.
• Check drug expiration dates across the pharmacy.
• Assist in preparing LVP, PB, and TPN under supervision.
• Perform unit inspections and follow C-2 controlled substance procedures.
• Assist in training new personnel and oversee volunteers.
