Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient at Glenbrook Hospital in Illinois. This part-time role requires rotating day/evening shifts and weekends/holidays.

Duties include dispensing per orders and delivering clinical pharmacy services while ensuring accuracy and compliance with Board of Pharmacy rules. Qualified candidates will have an Illinois Pharmacist license (PharmD preferred) and at least one year of pharmacy experience, with residency or equivalent experience viewed

• PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy preferred.
• Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred.
• At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medication in response to a physician's order.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work by a technician prior to dispensing.
• Prepare, compound and dispense medication per department policy and regulatory guidelines.

Hourly Pay Range:$59.50 - $92.23 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient
• Location: Glenbrook Hospital
• Part-time (40 hours per 2 week pay period)
• Hours: Rotating day and evening shifts; rotating weekends and holidays required

What you will need:

• License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist
• Education: PharmD (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred
• Certification: N/A
• Experience: At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice
• Skills: Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment

What you will do:

• Dispense medication in response to a physician's order
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing
• Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
