Job summary

Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for the Inpatient Pharmacy to optimize patient outcomes by preventing and resolving drug-related problems and coordinating drug therapy across care teams.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Central Team Leader and Manager for Clinical services, ensures optimum patient outcomes related to medication use by preventing or resolving drug-related problems and coordinating the acquisition, distribution and control of all drug therapy to patients under the care of the pharmacist. Position: Clinical Pharmacist, Department: Inpatient Pharmacy Schedule: Full Time, (40 Hours, Days/Evenings/Nights)

Job Requirements

Education: PharmD degree (or Bachelor's plus 2 years hospital pharmacy experience)

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required: Licensure to practice pharmacy by the hire date (or eligibility within 30 days of hire) in the state of Massachusetts.

Knowledge and Skills: Strong interpersonal skills towards our customers (including patients, physicians and nurses) and fellow employees of the hospital.

Compensation Range: $43.03- $62.50 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
