Boston Medical Center in Brockton is seeking a pharmacist to assure timely and accurate administration of medications and IV solutions, working with the Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily drug distribution and supervise technicians and externs.
You will ensure adherence to hospital policies, contribute to performance improvement activities, and maintain readiness for accreditation, while providing education to medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff as needed.

To assure the timely and accurate administration of medications and IV solutions to patients pursuant to a therapeutically valid prescribed order and in accordance with all state and federal regulations as well as established peer standards, hospital policies, procedures and protocols. Working with the Pharmacy Manager to manage the daily operations of all areas of drug distribution; supervises Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Externs/Interns; follows pharmacy policies, procedures and protocols; participates in Performance Improvement activities and maintains readiness for JCAHO accreditation.
Per Diem, As Needed, Non-Benefit Eligible Position
$50.00- $72.60 per hour. This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
