Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for the Inpatient Pharmacy to ensure optimum patient outcomes through careful medication use, prevent drug-related problems, and coordinate therapy for hospitalized patients.

Under the direction of the Central Team Leader and Manager for Clinical services, you will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care staff, contribute to medication safety, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package and professional development

Qualifications

• PharmD degree or Bachelor's degree plus 2 years hospital pharmacy experience.
• Licensure to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts or eligibility within 45 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills towards customers (patients, physicians, nurses) and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Prevent or resolve drug-related problems and optimize medication use.
• Coordinate acquisition, distribution and control of all drug therapy for patients under the care of the pharmacist.

Compensation Range

$43.03- $62.50 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
